you can chocolate milk for a few dollars and emeralds and 58 emeralds cost like millions of dollars and for that you get one glass

so no it's not worth it

True but they can be annoying

more like i recieve 40 hours of hard work and you get a piece of dirt

villligars just give you a long term investment in wheat which makes bread for all your rare items

but what about gunpowder and sugarcane or mushrooms

Those are easy to get

i'm not going to try and kill one of the most scariest mobs of minecraft to get a few drops of gunpowder
second of all you can only find mushrooms in the nether and dark oak forest(relatively rare biome).
