Regardless of his talent: Jay-Z is not a rocker. Meanwhile, Iron Maiden is one of the original pioneer Metal bands.
I guess, what do we expect from the RARHOF at this point? They don't anything.

Fact! We need a Metal Hall of Fame, totally separate from the RARHOF, I would support that.

Seriously tired of this! Last year Judas Priest was in the top five in the fan votes and didn't get in. This year, same thing for Iron Maiden!

I'm from Ohio, have family in Cleveland and Toledo, and I go back to visit every three to four years. I will never spend a dime at the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame. I wouldn't even set foot inside if I was given a free ticket.

It was bad enough the way that they treated bands like Rush and KISS, but it continues every year.

The pironeers of heavy metal and NWOBHM should be welcome! Not kicked out!

At least Michael Jackson did some rock songs (Beat It, Dirty Diana, Give In To Me, D.S., etc.) and included rock elements (in addition to adding elements from genres like blues, pop, soul, jazz, etc.) into his songs, so it's justified that he has his own place at Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame.

Plus, Beat It is a very influential song, and includes Eddie Van Halen in the song!

But what did Jay Z, Carole King, etc. do for rock genre to deserve to be included in Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame?

Also, Michael Jackson would've been an amazing vocalist for a metal band, especially for traditional, glam and power. They have clean vocals and Mike's voice would fit the bill perfectly. And when he does scream-sing, it would, sort of, fit in thrash as well. You gotta respect the versatility in his voice, from pop, to rap, to jazz, to rock and metal.

I dunno about Jay Z, Justin Bieber, etc., tho Eminem and DMX would fit as metal vocalists.

Pop Hall Of Fame is the new name.
