in the original hebrew bible it says “man shall not sleep with BOY…” and in the other verses, it was changed from a hebrew word meaning “pedophilia” to a english word meaning “homosexuality”. The change happened because the king who ordered the translation had a boyfriend and the priests didn’t like that. So they switched up the translation a bit and bingo-bingo-bango here we are. All of our lives ruined because a couple of old straight white guys messed some words up.
