SCP document | SCP-02856 "Death in a Box"; Euclid; Special headphones must be worn upon entering SCP-02856's cell. Please note that the headphones do not always work. SCP-02856 is a small rectangular music box, that plays an eerie song when somebody goes within 5 feet of its location. Anybody who is exposed to the song will continue hearing it until death, and see hallucinations of the box. Everybody that has been exposed to the music has died either due to lack of sleep or suicide. It's incredible kill count has gave it the name "Death in a Box". The music box appears to be sentient, and can speak to other SCPs telepathically. The box is also indestructible. Placing the box in SCP-914 will cause the machine to stutter and stop, before opening the doors like it's finished, with no change to the box.
