Haha I was doing this before it was cool.
Also the sun is shining and it is a perfect day so come out in the sun light.

My strat boom get wood wool sappings a little food 1 seed and dirt (but i could also get this underground

Cave time
First thing i do set up a tree growing area and then i plant the seed

The rest is what you would expect lots of mineing the nether and eventually the end

Then i would spend most if my time in the end for building

Wood isn't a problem for me, i could just go to the nether

Pro tip:

On your first day, make sure to get

1) Plenty of wood
2) Enough food to last you a while
3) Enough wool for a bed
4) Get some sugarcane
5) Make sure you get at least 3 or 4 saplings of your choice.

That way, you can make farms underground, allowing you to have plenty of wood, and food to survive down in these caves.

Another good tip is that since u cant step outside, look for endermen that could be holding a grass block. Kill it, and u can spread the grass to dirt to start spawning animals.

my strategy was to only farm, and mine what I find during the process of expanding my under ground farm.

i managed to do all of the things and just stopped playing after i reached the nether. i think i could've got farther tho.
