Literally France and Great Britian/The United Kingdom in the background: B r u h . . .
It honestly annoys me when I see people say it's the United States who did it, let's not forget, we were isolating ourselves, and we made the British buy weapons without giving them to the British for free.

If anything, USA, USSR, and Britain did most of the heavy lifting. US and UK defeated Japan and Italy, freed North Africa, and decimated the Germans at Bastogne, and even took major German Cities. The Soviets push the Germans back to Berlin and made Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria switch sides. France, they did well. Saar offensive, defended France for 46 days, French Resistance and Free France, not to mention the help in D-Day.

bruh, the allies couldn't have won without Great Britain, they were a crucial part of the war.

America had almost no impact on Germany's defeat. Russians killed over 10 times as many germans as the US.

America, without discouraging any of the allied forces, really helped turned the tide of the war.

true, but when France was knocked out of the war, Germany expected Britain to surrender, but no, British morale held high!

Yes, Britain did, not America. And no this was not because America helped Britain. It is because The royale airforce had more numbers than German planes in the west since the Germans were busy in the east.

Fun fact! The Russians killed 10 times as many Germans as the Americans did. Also fun fact, only half a million Americans died in the war, while 20+ million Russian (27 mil including civilians) were killed in the war. I seriously hate it when people think America did anything to stop Germany. Simply a diversion.

If the US wasn't involved in the war at all, then Britain would have starved out because of Germans because of no lend-lease, and the war would be far bloodier and gruel out far longer because it was a 1 front war until the US got involved and really kicked things into steam

The Russians demolished the German offensive and most of its defensive force before D-day even happened (:
