As a white person from the South myself, I don’t see it that way — I see this meme as ridiculing a bunch of radical insurrectionaries. They may self-identify as conservatives, but objectively speaking, that’s not what they actually are if they are seeking to overthrow a duly-elected government.
And the Capitol Hill rioters came from all over the country, it’s not a problem of any one region. And people say “yee-haw” all over the country not just in the South.
