Monster: *charges at him*

*he stabs the monster with his scythe and gets knocked down to the ground*

...GAH! Oh crap, he's so strong!!

*the Monster roars deafeningly* (Chris seems to have hit a weak spot)

Chris: *he flinches and gets back up, readjusting his mask which now has a crack in it* Wha- hm, that seem to hurt it a bit more than the previous spot...
Maybe....if I can hit it again somehow!?
Oh, here goes nothing...!
*he charges towards the monster holding his scythe in front of him*
AHH-

*the monster is defeated. but suddenly, this emerges from the ground!*

Chris: *his scythe glows and gives off a subtle pink flame for a split second*
...
What the hell is THAT!?!?
...*he backs off a bit and grips his weapon nervously*
S-stand back! What do you think you're doing here!

*he grips his scythe firmly*

Monster: THE MARIO YOU KNOW IS GONE. YOU SOON WILL BE TOO.

Chris: I must return home to my daughter...you will not kill me, it is my duty!
*he pulls out his scythe*

Chris, a bit worried: I'm not just some generic human, you monster. I'd stay back if I were you...
...*he puts his mask on and points his scythe at the monster*
I'm sure we could both make it out alive, unless your demise is what you want...*he gives him a nervous grin*

*he pulls up his hood and steps towards the monster*

Chris: .....Oh, I'm not confident I can take you on, I'm confident that I can take your cursed soul!
My scythe can tear out anyone's soul when I slice them enough times with it, so you'll not be my problem soon enough...and I'll crush your soul myself afterwards.

*He lunges forward and swings his weapon towards the monster*

Monster: (5 dmg taken) .........

...*he backs up a bit and readjusts his mask*

AmalgaMario: You cannot escape.

Chris: .....Well, I guess I'll have to kill you as well, hm!?

Chris: ....*he lowers his weapon*

*he puts his weapon away and approaches them*

*he looks at them with worry*

AmalgaMario: I have absorbed these characters, and I will do the same to you. You will be one with the hive-mind.

Chris: ...Oh? You really think so?
...I will make sure your death is extra painful, just for hurting them! And I will free them from your grasp, you monster-

*he give him a confident yet slightly anxious smirk*

Void Luigi: i'll tell you how to stop him... you have to- (AmalgaMario covers Void Luigi's mouth) Void Luigi: MMMMMMPHMMPHMPH

Chris: Leave him alone!! You know what?!?
*he pulls out his scythe again and points it at AmalgaMario*
That's it, YOU MONSTER!!
*he jumps towards AmalgaMario*

AmalgaMario: *puts Void Mario's head between his fingers, as if he's going to squeeze it like a grape* Don't attack, or the plumber gets it. (You see a look of true fear on Mario's face)

Chris: *he stays still*
U-uh....*he looks at Mario, also horrified*
O-okay...I won't...attack-
...
D-don't you DARE hurt him...

(AmalgaMario puts his fingers around all of the characters' heads) "Hell, I'll kill them all. I don't care about their lives."

Chris, horrified: .......don't...kill them...
...please. Don't...W-what do you need so I can have them freed-
*thinking: how will I be able to defeat him...*

AmalgaMario: Are you really trying to cut a deal with me? Sorry, kid, I don't accept cash! HAHAHA!

Chris: ...O-okay then-
...*he glances at Luigi*
Damn, I wish I was able to hear what he was going to say.
...maybe I'll have to learn to defeat this guy on my own...
Anyway, so....um...
...If I can't attack you...there's got to be another way, hm? How about nobody dies here? Can't it just end without anyone suffering!?!?

(AmalgaMario absorbs the characters into himself, making himself smaller) A: Well... my old contractor's head popped off, and I need a new one. Sign this contract, and we can work something out!

Chris: U-uh...wha- *he readjusts his mask*
...what's this suspicious contract about...? I'm not signing something which I haven't a clue on what it does...

A: Sign it, to become my new contractor!

Chris: *picks it up*

A: You have to do my jobs.

Chris: ....and what does that consist of exactly? Hm? What types of jobs would I have to do for a monster such as you?

A: *teleports behind Chris*

*turns around to look at him*

....*he looks at the person*

Chris: Ok, so where could these purple-ish shadow people be...?
*he looks around the town*

s-something in return! *he gives Chris a sandwich he made, and gives him a warm smile*

Chris: Aww, thank you so much, sir! I was getting a bit hungry-
*he takes off his mask and smiles back*

*he waves at him and continues his search for the people Snatcher described*

RP: O-of course. Anything for someone who's in trouble.

Chris: *he hands him a small potion*

...just let me know where I have to go and who I must "take care of"...

A: *slaps a map in Chris' face* That X is where my town is. Go there.

...*he checks the map and looks in the direction*
Sure thing, I'll go over there, now how do the people I have to get look like so I can find them?

A: The invaders are shadow people with purple faces. My townsfolk are shadow people with yellow faces. If you hurt one of my townsfolk, I'll be hearing about it!

Chris: O-ok sir-
...I'll be sure to find them. And not make any mistakes. Unintentionally.
*he heads in the direction of the town on the map*

(Later, Chris accidentally attacks an innocent person) Random Person: Aaaahh! Wh-what was that f-for?

Chris, horrified: O-oh s-sorry!! I didn't mean to do such a thing! I was looking for someone else, not you-
You look so similar to who I'm looking for, it was an accident I swear! *he puts his hands up to show the person he won't attack them any further*
