1) Wubbzy and Silver probably deserve to win this even though Wubbzy is a push over but Silver has heart even if he's ignorant at times but that's not his fault. So if any one should win it should be him

Andrew and the possibly fake Tommy is just weird for many reasons and Andrew already won anyways before and this victory for them continues this bad trend of community mods violating boundaries with their biases and agendas and occasionally harassing users in coded and sneaky ways. Wish they would act more like the global mods and be more neutral and behind the scenes or if they have to participate make it a point to keep it neutral.

Turtle or RMK should be HOC. Either is fine and both have heart and are honorable.

Final answer: I may seem ignorant, but that is why i use some things to justify my reasons. and i have heart.

1. All talk no action. Andrew is carrying Tommy's campaign, Trump is a good man, just needs to chill. Keller/NICKEL probably dropped or they're afk. crazyscientist has a bunch of similar policies to beez', which is a red flag.
2. F them. They have better things to do. At least whitenat has the balls to not self delete, unlike timber. but they're both disavowed.
3. No. another red flag, they could be a puppet of someone, or an alt. Unless they have proved past experience on here, then no.

7. That should be illegal. Voters who have no idea what the hell is going on in this stream, have invalid votes. they should take a survey as registration per each election cycle.

9. To fix the stream with wubbzy after the past 2 admins have done significant damage to this stream, or are in general AFK.

RMK, for he is a hypocrite and has done a lot of hypocritical things in the past (eg, Being the SOD and a crusader for which those 2 streams were enemies, he took part in censoring cheese, and he didn't control zod and the military).

10) I don't like the way question 10 is worded since everyone's vote is a sacred pact between themselves, their heart, and what they believe to be God.

I would simply say this, that if I win, then I will honor this office, pretend or otherwise. If I don't win then Silver and Wubbzy had better well win and Wubbzy had better grow a spine and not be a pushover since Richard will stream roll him.

I'd be fine with Richard being HOC someday but only after he acknowledges in sincere words and actions his wrongdoing for rigging the vote and doing so in the biggest asshole possible way. Hoping a pardon will give him the breathing rule and protection to start fresh and be a more productive member of the stream.

That said I don't encourage any one to avoid anyone since any member of the ballot is a right for you to vote.

One with exception- never should Whitenatiionalist be allowed on a ballot again in any way shape or form. I mean seriously. If you want to read about how incomprehensibly horrible and evil the Nazis were then read the book "Hitler's Willing Executioners". There is no excuse for whiteNat, Jeffrey, Timber1972 or trolls like them to be given your time of day. So avoid them if you must avoid anyone in some sense.

11) I think I've shown a balanced enough interest and commitment. LaChancla and Beez were clearly too AFK. Richard and some of his enemies are too obsessed and need to step back. I'm happily in the middle and don't care if I win or lose and can even enjoy being supportive of the winners and pitching in to help out so Captain_Scar isn't forced to do it by himself. Not like the mods of these streams get paid to do this.lol

8) The first thing I will do is quickly appoint everyone to my cabinet and Congress to get that secured. Then PARDON the troublemakers to create a clean slate. Then immediately coordinate with Captain_Scar to create a simply easy but fun Constitution that reflects his vision or the stream while respecting the needs of the community while making sure we have fun doing it. If it ain't fun then we are doing something wrong.

7) As far as voting from the whole site on this stream, this stream apparently has become a fun tradition for everyone in the community.

It would be too hard to arbitrary to decide who is a member of this stream or not and would turn off everyone else enough to hurt the stream as a whole.

The real change should be to say no to anonymous voting. And people who do vote should only be allowed to do so if they have been here 2 months. Points are stupid since it's easy to game. But for candidates who are less than 2 months old like me and OH_Canada, I think it is okay for us to run but we should only be allowed to vote for someone other than ourself.

So I pledge to vote for SilverPR1CE/Wubbzy for President AND for RMK to be fair.

6) To reduced toxicity I think most of my suggestions would contribute to this.

But for the first time ever I introduce in a more formal fashion than any other person a PARDON power that I plan to use to pardon Richardchill and others to clean up the mess he and his enemies made over the many months so we can start fresh.

I also plan to work with Captain_Scar to introduce a simplified constitution so that with structure and few fun rules and boundaries in place then order will return. With order there will be less chaos and less chance for trolls like Richard or WhiteNat to exploit the chaos to destablize the stream.

5) There are exceptions, yes, where Jeffreys AND the Timber1972s AND especially the whiteNats need to be banned without hesitation.

I think the ballot box is good for everyone else.

However I think that every mock government should be given leeway in this.

I would right away heavily discourage adults or people over the age of 21 coming to this stream since I think it should be for young people and not them.

What if for fun someone wanted to play the villain and create a medieval form of government, or something like North Korea, just to have fun and as a lesson in oppressive governments? In the case of someone who is an enemy of the state for this roleplay a government should be able to have to fun in exiling them just like they should be able to have fun creating spies or rebelling against the tyrants as long as it is all in good fun and governed by rules of fairness so both sides are respected.

If I win I plan to create a Trumpian style of government and reach across the aisles.

I was planning to make OH_Canada my secretary of State as a gesture of unity but also because it looks like he was harassed by others so he has experience dealing with trolls and would be a good asset and advisor.

4) The biggest problem on the stream is a lack of boundaries and structure. A good roleplay environment needs simple but fair rules and impressiveness so that we can lose ourselves in the game without getting lost. Structuring it in fun and creative ways is easy, stimulates the brain which is a good way to educate yourself and grow, and easy to do.

Maybe a press stream as a cousin to this stream to cut down on accusations of censorship. Treating the stream as a Republic so other streams can parlay with us. Making memes here in our forts or personal property to give us more a sense of a real country. And better checks and balances on eachother. Remember, power corrupts every last one of us no matter how good we are BUT absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Some lifers here are so burned out and addicted that they are terrible choices.

OH_Canada isn't all that bad even though his account isn't that new and many new accounts are actually older users wanted a fresh start or banned users wanting to return but ready to play nice and we shouldn't restrict them.

I don't even care if whiteNat came back and dropped the Nazi crap but the problem is that he only wants to come back if he can push the Nazi crap in one form or another.

Good faith should be extended to new users, even if they are likely alts of older users, until they do something stupid like declare war on the stream or harassing others in clear violation of the websites guidelines.

2) Trolls and alts harassing the stream and then counter-harassing each other with vigilante trolls is a serious problem. But it seems concentrated here as just a sample of a much larger problem on imgflip as a whole. This stream is part of a much larger Cold war of white hats and black hates, sociopaths, trolls and young users coming here and being groomed here by the darkest parts of the web.

Look at the ongoing problem with the flasher Jeffrey? Or look at Timber1972. For 7 years he attacked other with the n-word, hate speech against gays, and regularly preyed upon children and teens. Only when someone finally reported him to the owner was he banned and it wasn't that the community mods weren't aware of this. They confuse libertarian values of free speech with anarchy and a lack of dignified moderation of the site. If the owner bans a user after learning of his use of hate speech against blacks and it took 7 years to figure that out, then that is a problem, people.

Alt and trolls are part of any internet community and problem. So continuing to be vigilant and reporting the problems of this stream to the global mods will help. Just look at the progress with whiteNat? For better or worse, that situation has now limited his access on the site and put him on the radar.

But there are fun ways to control that problem better here, in addition to simply having zero tolerance for the worst trolls like whiteNat and Timber. More in a minute...

2)[cont.] To combat the problem of trolls and alts, I propose a fun way to make the most use of the MOD power here. Who cares about choccy milk? Let's have some meaningful solutions.

My campaign platform:
I will push for strong stream immigration reform.

I will push for a simple constitution for the people and not longwinded wonkiness by the eggheads.

I will push for imgflip citizenry. Only people under the age of 21. No adults or serial trolls with past baggage.

I will push for imgflip property rights.
Where your meme on this stream is your personal property and home. No Soldier, crusader or troll shall, in time of peace be quartered in any meme, without the consent of the meme Owner, nor in time of war, in a manner to be prescribed and enforced by the mod.

I will push for voter reform. No more anonymous voting.

I will build a wall on the borders of the stream to keep sus trolls out. A big beautiful wall around the stream and I will make the trolls pay for it.

This will reduce the problem of troll and alts by giving power back to the people where it belongs.

1)[cont.] Richard is some kind of narcissist or possible sociopath- and the secret ruler of the stream and has turned the stream into a safe place for cyberbullying and trolling with cheating, having found a way to harass users against the rules of the terms of service with this stream.

In his own words he has the owner of the stream on a leash. He brags about being a tyrant.

Even if you forget all that for a moment, he accuses others including me of having alts but was himself busted for rigging Congress and the vote with alts in a voter fraud scheme.

The spirit of this stream is a democratic election and there is no greater crime or threat than undermining an election by stealing the votes from others. Richard has neither shown contrition or remorse for his actions.

For that reason alone he should never hold office and maybe avoid imgflip until he gets help for possible deep rooted psychological issues.

Nothing personal but there IS nothing more insecure than cheating in any game, let alone an election where trust is stolen and abused. I repeat, there is nothing more insecure than cheating because you are not confident in yourself to govern and participate with enough power. You don't think you are man enough to have power to influence others, and you are too lazy to work for it, so you steal power from others.

1) we like richardchill and mini_turtle both of them are the best choice for congress. my thoughts on the president candidates well Wubbzy is a good choice for president if we lost the election. Donald trump well I don't agree with him all the time that much but if he wins the election I wouldn't care at all.

We have a good history on Imgflip, no one can change what I see or remember.

Win or lose, I chose to run with OH_CANADA because it was the right thing to do.

IMO votes from "out of stream" are ok as long as the votes are from Imgflip accounts with activity from before the election cycle. Not new accounts, like you can't vote irl if you are under the legal voting age.

Serious enough to use my Community Moderator abilities, if and when that is needed.

Pepe Party likes RichardChill24 and mine_turtle for HOC. Opinion of other HOC candidate is poor due to perceived harassment of newer accounts, via accusations of being "alt". Genuine new users interested in IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS being driven away is not good for the Stream. m

For President candidates, we like the PEPE PARTY best of course. If PEPE PARTY doesn't win, Wubbzymon and crazyscientistfarmer are nice and would be good for the stream in our opinion. Other candidate seems to have an entirely smear based campaign with little substance to date.

Not really able to offer ideas entirely specific to this stream, so I'll talk about user created streams across the site.

All the Streams on Imgflip are kind of like all the different neighborhoods of a big city. Find the stream/neighborhood you like.

If a particular stream Community is toxic, either the stream can work it out or people will start leaving.

In general, one form of toxicity I see occuring on user created streams is Stream Moderators who target users they don't like, follow them around and blanket delete the target's comments, unfeature the target's memes, not because the content is against the Terms or Stream Rules, but just because they don't like the user. For the most part, it's up to Stream Owners to monitor that type of activity via the Moderation logs and put a stop to it if they don't want that kind of Stream.

I'm a Stream Owner or Stream Moderator on a few streams that would never tolerate that style of weak sauce stalking moderation.

IMO, this stream has become a destination for users intent on breaking the Terms of Use.

Personally I primarily see two types of accounts that harass users on this stream against the Terms of Use.

No particular order, one type is a self deleting alt that pops in to make targeted harassment comments against particular users, the other type is the "WN" style accounts. Pretty quiet on that front over the past three days from what I have seen, but the activity may ramp up as debate is underway and voting day approacheth.

I was asked to help on this stream, I'm here as a VP candidate, as an Imgflip user and as a Community Moderator. If any user sees something they think is against the Terms of Use, they can send me a link or contact me via memechat and I will take a look.

I generally leave moderation of user created streams to the Stream Owner(s)/Stream Moderator(s), however I have ability to take action anywhere on Imgflip against Conduct or Content that's against the Terms. If I take action against a user, those actions are recorded and can be viewed by other sitewide Moderators or the owner of Imgflip.

For user created streams in general, I believe banning content of a particular user should ultimately be up to Stream Owner(s). There may be a way to do that in Stream Settings someday.

If the Stream Owner(s) wanted to get consensus from their Community on banning a particular user, that would be up to them.

Only for OH_CANADA, because I knew him from from his prior account on Imgflip, and have been connected with him on another social media site since he had that account then.
