There is a lot of misunderstanding between our communities and I am involved in solving that.

You must understand that many of them have been wounded in the past so they are hard-edged and bitter; quick to judge others as homophobe, especially those who consider their lifestyle a sin.

But I have met three people there who are not, and having been there, they welcomed me with open arms despite my very strong beliefs.

I must also add that they are dealing with trolls and haters almost on a daily basis. I know, because I've seen it. Mostly trolls, they used the same message that their lifestyle is a sin. One in particular accused them of being Pedos.

With my experiences in the Christian streams for three years we don't get as much of trolls as they have.

It is not to say that you cannot try at an appropriate time, but for them to be told that they're sinning and are going to hell on a daily basis, and at the same time facing hardships along with their fellows as they endure bullies, social ridicule, internet trolls, etc what do you expect them to do? If persecution happens now, part of it will be OUR FAULT. Because some of us are harrying them!

Forgive me for being blunt, but that is their room. It is their sanctuary, not just a place to gather and chat.

I understand that we need to reach out to them with the gospel, believe me, I share your convictions, but coming there uninvited and posting unwelcomed messages does not help but only make them even more bitter and angry.

Do you want them to go to ours and parade their flags, post pro-LGBTQ+, and call us homophobes?? Why then are you advocating something that you do not want happen into your own stream?

He is certainly Liberal, socially, and I as a Fundamentalist Christian (Evangelical) I disagree with his use of scripture nor do I agree with his lifestyle, But that does not mean he is Liberal on every issue.

For example, there are Liberals who are for the 2nd Amendment. There are also Liberals who are for Traditional Marriage. And half of America is Center-Right... we do not all agree on the same issue.
