See, that's how politics works, you should have learned this in 8th grade, but I realize that public education isn't as good as it used to be.

Here you go...governors run their STATES. Senators represent the state in the senate, voting for how they think their constituents would want on NATIONAL issues.

Therefore, McConnell is no more responsible for the poverty rate in Kentucky than Ted Cruz was for the power outages in Texas.

Got to hand it to you, that's a good one, as long as you can agree that it applies to both sides of the aisle!

Well if state senators are supposed to do nothing, just get rid of them. Not to mention the fact they never retire. Geez open up the field to folks under 70 ffs

They are United States Senators not State Senators those would be at the local level. They elected every six so anyone who wants to challenge them in the election, they don't have to retire to be replaced. are you new at this?
