I very much doubt that the statements of Biden or Waters would be grounds for that. Also the president is only allowed to pardon federal crimes and Chauvin was not convicted of a federal crime, so that would be the purview of the state governor. If he gets convicted of civil rights violations, those could be pardoned by a GOP president, but I doubt anyone would stick their own neck out for him like that. No Minnesota governor of either party is going to pardon Chauvin. He's in for the long haul.

The judge said it himself during the trial, that Chauvin has a good case for appeal because of what Waters said. Other politicians have caused legal issues by publicly speaking to the guilt of the accused. Know your history.
