The "social-democrats" back in the 1920's-1990's were the Communists. The term "social democrat" was coined by Lenin as way to gain power in Russia because he and his Soviets couldn't sell "communism" , as defined by Marx and Engles, to the masses. Once power was attained, they dropped all pretenses and openly declared themselves to be Communists.
In the US, the Democrats call themselves "Social Democrats" and have adopted the Fascist model of silencing all opposition and beating down anyone who disagrees with them, under the guise of being "anti-fascist", when in fact, they are true Communists.
