I came into your stream because there was an anonymous memer who posted on the Online_Therapy stream, asking me to watch out for certain haters, then decided to go on a "search and destroy mission", knowing also, that my actions there can ensure good relations between our communities.

Looking at Jotaro's meme for the first time & in the comment section saw only those in agreement with. Jotaro's intention was to post that meme in a Christian stream. I've checked & did see one from but a different kind. Knowing would likely ensue came back to confront Jotaro. Returning, I was surprised to see at least one who did protest Jotaro; the person's name is SickoPickle. That encouraged me.

However, in the course of our exchange felt discouraged. I couldn't persuade Jotaro so proceeded to create my meme for the Moderators to intervene. Along the way felt greater discouragement when Jotaro posted a meme (which Jotaro later erased) saying, "Hey, check out this hater I'm dealing with!". I had only the worst of expectations thereafter.

But to my surprise returning, I saw three people come to my aid & all of them listed above. Reaper expressed surprise & apologized for what I was experiencing & so did Bun, informing me the nature of the likes of Jotaro, & finally, -Azzy- asked me not to worry about the person. In seeing the dialogue between Jotaro and I, all three made a vigorous defense and counterattack on my behalf.

I was really moved by what I' witnessed.

Many more came afterward, apologizing for what happened, thanking, & expressing their admiration for what I've done & how I've conducted myself throughout. Memes in a total for four were made expressing the same thing which is above and beyond my expectations! Two done by Reaper, one by Bun, & the last from Non-Binary-Banana.

Yet, as worthy of praise as you think I deserved, the greater should go to the three persons that have helped me. They are the tall and noble luminaries of your community, the paragon of humanity displaying love, patience, grace, forgiveness, and support. It is no act of humility that I felt very unworthy for them to do that, for all that had happened to your community. My part in all this is simply a matter of course.

My heartfelt thank you to Reaper, Bun, & -Azzy- for what you've done for me & more!

Your support meant a lot to me, Bun. For all I knew, Jotaro could have riled up everyone, including those more level headed. With the haters or trolls your stream is already dealing with, I wouldn't appear any different. I tended to write long and so that could have been easily ignored.

Eventually, it would have calmed down on the comment section but words can spread as soon as the members of the stream sees Jotaro's which, Jotaro made two as far as I know. And, depending who has seen it can tell their friends. Memes could have even been made, warning others about me.

I don't think I'll be deleted, but my friends and I (which I have only six, all but one are Conservatives) would have to work hard in order to prove that I am not a hater.

However Reaper, you, and Non-Biinary-Banana have made memes about me that were luminously positive. I think, too positive, but with each one made ensures that more people in your stream is informed as to my actual nature.

I am very grateful for all of you. :)

Hey, I know Jotaro. He called me a homophobe for explaining that the Catholic church isn't exactly a fan of homosexuality.

Jotaro is unfortunately, one of the more imbittered members of this stream. Jotaro and I from the beginning fought, but thankfully the level headed members came to my rescue. Afterward, Jotaro and spoke as Jotaro taught and tried to convince me to use the pronouns "They/Them" in reference to, but I could not.

In the end, Jotaro finally agreed to permit me to use only the screen name.

Jotaro as said before is one of the more imbittered members of this stream but Jotaro is trying. I could see how much effort in patience Jotaro is trying, and I truly appreciated Jotaro for that,.

I am sorry that you have experienced his bitterness. Please understand that Jotaro may have been wounded in the past. This goes with a lot of the members of the LGBTQ. Some are indeed radical and extreme, but others like Reaper and Easter-BunBun are fair and open-minded.

And, there is a candidate from this stream I'm supporting for ImgFlip Presidency; the person is also fair. The person's name is crazyscientistfarmer. Both of us are polar opposites in worldview, but I've seen the person around, and I feel I could not have picked a better candidate,

No, I am not. My activities in relation to ImgFlip_President was simply to support a candidate I believed in. This occurred last summer as I backed PuppyLover04; her VP was Captain_Scar. I am happy to say that they've won that election and, I have had a hand in it. :)

I forgive Jotaro for that entirely, and I understand *chokes* "their" viewpoint. Jotaro has been abused emotionally before by members of the church that they call home. That's got to scar a person.
Oh, that's what confused me about Reaper, the mixture of religious posts. Posts about Shinto, Greek mythology, and the like (as well as a post about Christianity in which I held a debate over whether or not Satan is Lucifer), and other LGBTQ+ memes. Makes sense now, no less respect towards them.

AGuyOnImgflipForSomeReason, forgive my firmness, but if you're going to gag and choke, you do so privately. It is perfectly fine to express your opinion, but please do not exclaim. We are here as guests. We must therefore behave accordingly (Colossians 4:6).

I meant no offense to anyone. I just have less of a calm way than you do. I certainly aspire to do as you do, but it certainly can't be too easy.

I know how you feel. The LGBTQ lifestyle is an abomination against the Lord; homosexuality is as wicked and horrid as incest, adultery, and bestiality (Leviticus 18:11, 22/-24). But they don't know that. To them, it is nothing more than love; an attraction that cannot be helped anymore than us with the opposite sex.

Right. It's hard to understand, but to be objective is among the most valuable things in an argument. You and I, and anyone else, must learn to see out of their eyes- to quote an overused proverb that a ridiculous number of people stupidly attribute to Eminem, "Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes".
0 ups, 4y,

That was actually my intended advice to you :)

I am admired here for how I handled Jotaro with patience and reasonableness, but don't think I would have been that way had I not known their stories first. It is not to say that I have walked a mile in their shoes, and that in itself is an impossibility as I am a straight person. But knowing their stories and arguments made me more careful and caring than I would have had I not known it.

I would have believed that most support "Gay Mafia", but after a short time here, observing their communications told me otherwise.

xD i didnt even think through saying to walk a mile...
well yeah, you probably get the point with your amount of higher-level critical thinking.

Well that quote is essentially correct so you're not entirely wrong, but as wonderful that quote is, it doesn't perfectly apply to all.

You know... it is a beautiful thing that you as a Catholic and I as a Protestant are conversing like this whereas before we were bitter enemies.

And, in honesty, once the pay-to-win-esque nature of the Catholic church dissipated, the two groups haven't been so fundamentally different. Times change, for sure.

The Sales of Indulgence is one of the contentious things we as Protestants disagree with, but unfortunately it is not the only one. We differ fundamentally even though both believed in the Trinity. But most of the fundamental disagreements I think, between our churches, are not of the same kind as the Indulgence.

Well of course there are still vast differences- they are different religions after all. Gratefully, the worst and most noticeable gaps have, for the most part, mended themselves.
0 ups, 4y
I think so too. In the 2nd Council of Trent the Pope recognized the corruption that went on, and fixed it which were the things Protestants protested about. The Pope did that while staying firm on the fundamentals. Later, the 2nd Vatican Council, the Pope apologized for all the wrongs that were done in the name of the church.

I wondered if we Protestants made a similar apology to the Catholics and everyone else. After all, we did more persecuting than the Catholics after the 30 Years War, particularly in America.

And, as bad as you think of JotaroSimp812928, I cannot fault Jotaro for wanting to post that meme. I don't know Jotaro, but I could only imagine what Jotaro went through.

After the exchange, I did not expect Jotaro to come to me, let alone apologize, but came Jotaro did. And for an hour, Jotaro had given me as much patience and respect as can be mustered, explaining to me, (along with Reaper) the proper pronouns "They/Them" to be used, what it meant, and what to avoid pertaining to the person. I can tell it was very hard for Jotaro to do, particularly when I could not comply with what was requested of me.

In the end, not only did Jotaro agree allow me to use only the screen name belonging to, but Jotaro removed the meme on the Christian stream. I could not ask for anything more than that.

It is arguable that Jotaro has a lot to learn, but so did I.

Before I could only imagine a stream full understandably bitter and vengeful people with few exceptions but afterward the latter proved much more numerous than the former. There are people in your community who are politically extreme but also those who just want to be left alone and live their lives.

Jotaro, though not violent, may very well represent some of the worst in your community, but proved that even people like Jotaro can change.
