Just to be clear, this is only talking about reposts that are specifically on the fun stream.

it's even more infuriating when someone steals art and takes it to art streams on imgflip like the drawings stream and then they try to make up so many excuses. it's just so unfair to the original creators who worked hard on the stuff that gets stolen.

If I were a person that didn't know I reposted something on accident, then I would have probably said "Sorry, I'll try to be more careful next time"
But please try to understand that people are oblivious to things and genuinely wouldn't know sometimes. I'm not trying to start another ruckus in the comments, so I'm leaving off here.

I hate3 it when you get accused of a repost when its rlly not

While reposting is wrong, some of their excuses aren't completely untrue.

"I didn't know." -- Many people who repost something don't realise that they are reposting. In many cases, it's because the new post came weeks, months, sometimes even years later, or sometimes they are completely oblivious.

"Everything's a repost. It's impossible to make something original nowadays." -- While it is not impossible, it is often quite difficult to create something original. There are so many memes out there, most often, we aren't the first ones to have this idea.

Reposting is not okay, but it is okay to cut people a little slack sometimes.
