Obama tried to nationalize the banks and the automobile industry. To a certain extent he did. Controlling interest in GM and Chrysler belongs to the unions and the federal government. Speaking of unions, Dems have always been big on unions. Unions were started in America by the early 20th century Progressives (aka communists).

Unions operate on the Labor Theory of Value. Marx incorporated that theory into his idea of communism even though it had been disproved earlier. The Dems are fully behind this theory also.

The theory is that labor sets the price of goods and services. It is the forerunner to the collective controlling the means of production, which is a socialist and Marxist idea. The collective cannot make decisions so the government does it for them. In this case labor is the collective.

The problem with labor setting the price of good and services is that someone can do a really poor job of building a product but they are paid the same as someone who did an outstanding job because they put the same amount of labor into the products. When those who work hard to make a good product see that they are paid the same is the poor workers they tend to stop putting in the extra effort. Then quality suffers all across labor. This is why the Soviet Union could never produce a car that that anyone wanted.

The Labor Theory also makes the mistake of confusing the value of an individual (which is infinite) with the labor they perform. So if their labor is not up to par then their value to society is diminished. And as in all collectivist systems the individual is expendable.

The Dems aren't there yet but they have already started with cancel culture which is the same thing as devaluing a person in society.

Everytime the Dems gain power one of the 1st things they do is raise taxes. This is because they have no value of private property rights. The government did not earn that money, the individual did. The government has no rights to anyone's money and they never have. Taxation is theft.

The goal of socialism is the complete elimination of private property rights. If you own nothing then you live at the convenience of those who do own your house, your land, your car, your family and your life. You are a slave whose sole purpose is to work to support the oligarchs.

There is a list that floats around on the internet that I have seen several times. It is a body count of people who are associated with the Clinton's since the Arkansas days. You can make what you want out of that list. Some of it sounds just too coincidental while most of the people on the list sounds more like it was just a coincidence.

Anyway is was mostly a joke. There are a lot of conservatives that believe that Hillary kills anyone who gets in her way. Maybe she does. She is not a nice person and she is very corrupt. She had top secret classified documents on her private email server. Lots of them. Anyone else would have had their security clearance revoked and thrown in jail for much less than what she did. Who was she mailing those documents to? The Clinton Foundation made a ton of money raising money to help Haiti. The Haitians haven't seen a dime of any of that money the Clinton Foundation raised. My guess is that they never will.

So if you want to know who Hillary has allegedly killed then do a search on the internet for the Clinton body count. I just know that in my lifetime I do not know anyone who has been murdered. I never studied economics in college but years later I started thinking about economics. There were a few things that I sort of figured out. Then I started reading and studying people like Milton Friedman, Frederick Von Hayek and Thomas Sowell. I was amazed to find out that what I had figured out with my little brain was correct. And since I have learned so much more from them and others.

Enough to know that Democrats know absolutely nothing about economics. They all engage in magic thinking. The pass bills that increase the national debt by trillions at a time now without the slightest concern about who is going to pay those expenses.
