Dear you
Covid has a 98.5% survival rate. I already know how I react to it. My family does too. We show symptoms only a day after exposure. My parents felt sick the night they got it. If I know exactly how it affects me and would know if I had it. Then shouldn't it be my choice? And why is the government allowed to force me to wear something? What happened to freedom? We never voted on their law so why should we be forced to follow it? Is that not exactly what dictatorship is? I understand it's for our safety but widespread major enforcement that even suggests that I wear it around my family is wayyyyy too far.
1. we should have voted (Which most people would gladly vote in favor of it)
2. People like my mother (Who has anxiety when she feels restricted and cant wear heavy clothing or have anything over her face for too long) should be given lenience and breaks from wearing masks.
3. For people like me with sensory disabilities and skin sensitivity should be provided with options for more comfortable masks to prevent meltdowns.
I and my mother still wear a special mask that doesn't bother us. But we had to pay more money for them. My mask alone from some brands can be 30 USD. Mine was 15 USD and I needed two so I could alternate while they were being washed. Places should have to provide these masks for people like me who have disabilities or they should not be able to force us to wear one.
Not everyone is so willing to waste money on a face-covering like I am and many can't afford it.
