I don't think Schizophrenia or Bi-Polar Disorder is Joe's Issue. His lifelong actions are more akin to
antisocial personality disorder or at minimum, pathological liar.
Do you have the link to the article you've mentioned?

I was thinking more about the obsessive–compulsive disorder part of schizophrenia. Biden lies all the time.

Here’s the article:

No worries, I will take a look thanks.
He has exhibited many negative traits over the years but all of it stems from an inflated ego with a low natural ability to do anything and a learnt ability to lie i think.

Just a borrowed example of what I'm referring to.

Pathological lies are:

told frequently and compulsively
told for no apparent reason or gain
continuous told to make the teller appear heroic or the victim
not deterred by guilt or risk of getting found out
Examples of pathological lying:

creating a false history, such as saying they’ve achieved or experienced something they haven’t
claiming to have a life-threatening illness that they don’t have
telling lies to impress others, such as saying they’re related to a famous person

Yes, it’s as if he tries to impress people all the time. Hence my comment about obsessive–compulsive disorder.

You’re right about “inflated ego.”

And then you have bizarre behavior.

I think the article may elucidate the origins of the "Corn pop" story. He made it up based upon an actual acquaintance with a Black gang member. There never was a corn pop guy and that story is another example of pathological lying.
Remember that pathological lying is a trait within more serious mental disorders.

Exactly! In my opinion, the lies and bizarre behavior point to the fact that he has a serious mental disorder.

The whole picture may never be allowed to be known but his lifelong mental issues are now being compounded by the senility that is creeping into his every day. It can not be denied that he has had serious cognitive decline since 2012 This is not the kind of imaginary decline that the OMB haters attempted to foster and believed but serious, real age related declines in cognitive and motor abilities. He is not at the first level of Dementia/Alzheimers symptoms he is around phase 3. Meaning if I recall correctly, not long now til normal functioning ceases.

“Phase 3,” without a doubt!
