Can relate. Hopefully they are reviewing emailed applications from a pool of qualified candidates and find the right person for the job. Maybe you will hear back when they narrow the pool down or if they make a selection.
Being in the job market myself, I find in general that my electronic applications with cover letter/resume/certifications/work examples usually go into the void. I hardly ever hear back about mine, particularly for my applications in the private sector. I think in the old days, employers in general were better about following up on employment applications.
With the pandemic and unemployment having been higher than usual, it can be a tough time to look for work, imo. I wish you luck in your job search.
