A sociopath lacks empathy and doesn't understand that something is good or wrong, but they have a small conscience and know from examples and information the difference between something that is good or bad, but they don't know why.

A psychopath doesn't even understand bad or good, they could shoot a person and take their wallet and they'll feel nothing nor understand that it hurts another person.

This might be super wrong but a sociopath is basically a discount psychopath who doesn't understand others that well, and a psychopath is crazy person who doesn't understand other things or people can even have feelings
