it ALWAYS happens

It depends on how long you wait. I have reposted a number of times without it happening but the time lag was long. I've also had memes denied as "repost" because I used the same cartoon and a SIMILAR theme.

i always get taken down (sometimes I DO repost but like once) and once i posted somthing and a mod sent a link to a meme with 100 views created on the same day as mine so annoying>:(

When I say "time lag was long" I mean several YEARS.

Also, for about the past 2 years there are SO many postings in fun that most posts "fall off" after maybe a few hours. On the rare occasions when I post there I usually get less than 30 views. I've even seen that happen with my reposts that originally got thousands of views, so it's usually not worth posting there.

That's one reason why users created the frontpage and MEMES_OVERLOAD streams.

IKR I feel like my posts would get more upvotes but they only get like 16 views and no one ever upvotes /:
