Yes be a good citizen and just vote your party line regardless of the candidate...that always works out.

I have never just voted R because the candidate is an R.  The R typically falls in line with my beliefs and visions of what should be.

I've never just voted a straight party line in 51 years of voting. Today, I am not sure it matters. The party with the majority in the house or the senate regardless of party seem to vote strictly on party lines. For that reason, I can understand why someone would vote down part lines for the sole goal of changing the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader. For today at least, they seem to be the most powerful people in D.C.
