Not being a republican, I can't say if this is true or not. And personally speaking, I have no problem with kids being around anyone who is transgender. But I still don't get the connection between gun rights (or I guess over here in politicsTOO I should say gun control, right? (gun confiscation?)) and LGBTQ rights, issues, etc., assuming you're attempting to make one.
