THERE ARE DIFFERENT "PARTS" OF CHRISTIANITY, OR HOWEVER YOU PUT IT. SUCH AS THE LUTHERAN, BAPTIST, AND CATHOLIC CHURCH. NOT ALL CHRISTIANS ARE HOMOPHOBIC/TRANSPHOBIC. YEAH, THERE ARE SOME, BUT DO YOU EVER CONSIDER THE FACT THAT NOT ALL CHRISTIANS ARE, AND THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER RELIGIONS THAT ARE HOMOPHOBIC/TRANSPHOBIC. These arguments aren't based on logic or reason. Some are based on personal experience (A christian attacked me for being gas so they all must hate gays) and others are simply based on prejudice, They don't like Christians s they slander them as racist, sexist, trans phobic, etc... I appreciate your message, but I doubt it will change anyone's thinking. You said yourself that this innocuous plea for understanding likely wouldn't even be allowed in the LGBT stream. They simply don't want to hear it because it doesn't fit their narrative. (of course this doesn't apply to 100% of the members of the community, but does to the community at large)

Yeah people are like that, but a lot of people making fun of Christians are the ones making memes and jokes about them to cope with things like their religious trauma and you shouldn't go insane because all they are doing is making jokes. I'm sorry but christains have done way worse things than the gay community. The christains have been homophobic for no reason for literal centuries. Gay people have mostly all been discriminated. And that's how it is.

One person's actions do not define their whole community, but when most of the christains or most of people in general are anti-LGBTQ it's okay to make jokes of them.

I make coping jokes about how much hypocrites mormons are because I was severely bullied by people in a mormon/Christian school. They can be offended about it, but that they did to me is way worse than me calling out their hypocrisy.
