To put it bluntly, the term Karen has been highjacked by actual Karens and is being used to guilt people who just want to be left alone into complying with whatever the *actual* Karens want done.
Don't believe me? Here are just a few example;
1.) Kicking families off of planes because their child refused to wear a mask because they're a two year old.
2.) Retroactively classifying someone as trespassing because someone else complained about them not wearing a mask, even though the mandate was lifted nearly a week prior.
3.) Trying to shut down church service on Easter then sending cops to arrest people for celebrating anyway.
4.) Arresting people for going on walks. In the middle of the woods. By themselves.
So yeah, every time someone calls someone else a Karen now I can't help but press "x" to doubt, which is sad.
