Diamond armor is easier to get than gold armor

Netherite armor is easier than chain, but chain armor is nothing but gold armor with the same durability as iron, so not really worth it, but better than leather

...Chain Armor is literally so hard to get. You can't craft them, hence to either have to get them from Villagers or somewhere else similar of the sort.

That's luck-based, and can be so time-consuming for something that isn't even worth it as your first armor.
