Except nobody with an IQ higher than room temperature suggested that it is unlimited.
It provides literally the right to a militia, and never said anything about "only hunting rifles". If the militia is to defend a state from an overbearing, all-controlling government, then I'd say sidearms are fair game.
Note the fact that I said sidearms.
