We want to own a gun cause of self defense. And you need to be trained on this, cause lots of people are idiots using guns without training. You just want to strip the people of their right to bear arms. And don’t bring up the “criminals will give up theirs too” argument. They literally break any law, so how will they obey a new one?

Five steps to less gun crimes without banning any guns or taking any away:

1. National background checks
2. Mandatory waiting period
3. Mandatory training
4. Mandatory registration
5. Mandatory insurance

If someone “loses” too many guns …. They can’t buy any more guns.

We are already doing the background checks, we have to wait 3 days before getting the gun in IL.

My father had waited a year to get his permit back, and I’m assuming he’s gonna wait a year more.

Another thing I agree with, but can mess you up in a case of self defense.

These need to be federal mandates. So every state works together, and no, they are not all in effect across all states. These 5 things, across ALL states, would eliminate a HUGE number of guns used in crimes.
