He was the youngest of the group of friends that were picking on Job. I can’t say if he was the worst but in my opinion he was the most annoying haha. Eliphaz was definitely one of the ring leaders as it said in 42:7 “After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.”
Also I thought it was ironic that Elihu said obeying the Lord would lead to “spending your days in prosperity” because that implies your days on Earth would be prosperous. They very well might be, but the wicked grow old and prosper (job 21:7 I think) as well. Then Jesus himself did not live a life of prosperity but of a servant. Those who obey God often die for their faith, like Jesus did. Even by the sword like John the Baptist (okay okay, it could have been an ax for all I know).
