Why must creation and evolution be mutually exclusive?

I argue this point with Christians all the time.

if dinos were living and dying millions of years before adam and eve, there is no reason for Jesus to have come and died

I see, had we worshipped the dinosaurs, we could have saved Jesus.

Jesus came to save people from the consequences of the fall

if there was death before the fall, the whole reason for Jesus' coming is gone

Got it! So the dinosaurs aren't saved, so that explains why God killed them with a metaphor.

I'm not following your logic

Because dinosaurs lived before stone templates, they could not receive 'The Good Word'

dinosaurs are animals---they don't have any ideas about right and wrong. they are not human beings

they are not created in the image of God

So why do we care about their immortality?

I'm not saying lthat we do, I am just saying that if there was no sin, they wouldn't have died
