Being uniformed or misinformed is the individual's fault. Do the work. Do the research. Read some facts instead of falling for propaganda.

I'm not gonna do your homework. Read what I posted. Then tell me where the difference are. Don't cherry pick. I'll give you a head start. Yes, they mail to every registered voter. Every registered voter provided an ID when they registered. So it is disingenuous that Colorado residents can vote without ID.

Colorado has a drop box for each 9400 voters. Georgia just capped it at one for each 100,000 voters. "Instead of being outdoors with 24-hour access, as many in Colorado are, the Georgia boxes must be inside government buildings and voting sites...Under the new law, Georgia elections officials can only mail out absentee applications to voters who individually request it, shutting down one approach to encouraging mail balloting. And voters will have a shorter window to ask for those ballots... Colorado does require some form of ID when voters register for the first time and whenever they vote in person. But the state accepts 16 different forms of identification. Georgia allows only six forms of ID for in-person voting. And the state requires that voters provide a driver's license number, a copy of a state identification card or a Social Security number each time they vote by mail." https://www.npr.org/2021/04/07/984857562/fact-check-how-colorado-georgia-voting-laws-differ-despite-conservatives-claims

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank aligned with Trump, met with Georgia lawmakers in the weeks before that state revamped its voting laws, giving them the outline of what to do. And they are doing the same in Florida and other states.
Read some facts instead of falling for propaganda. Just because magats are dumb enough to fall for it, doesn't mean everyone is.

Conservatives got their asses kicked in the elections, and are trying anything and everything to try to win despite having the majority of the population being against them.

Do your own (middle school) homework, and quit spreading lies.

FACT: The drop boxes used in the last election did not exist a year ago. They were first utilized in 2020 as a pandemic precaution. This bill makes them an official part of Georgia elections, and they will be available in all 159 counties in Georgia (they were not in 2020) and under supervision to protect against tampering.

FACT: The law requires a driver’s license or free state ID number, which 97% of registered voters already have. Anyone without a valid ID can easily obtain one for free. The voter ID requirement replaces the state’s controversial signature match program that led to the disqualification of thousands of votes in 2020. The law’s voter ID requirement for absentee ballots is overwhelmingly popular in Georgia across the board. According to an AJC poll in January, 74% of Georgia voters support it, including 63% of black voters, and 89% of those making under $25K/year.

FACT: Like the countless other states that have very specific laws against electioneering near polling places, Georgia has codified rules preventing political groups from handing out food or water to voters in line as an incentive to vote, but specifically allows poll workers to make water available to anyone who wants it. Water and food CAN be distributed by anyone, but not within 150ft/50yds of the polling place.

FACT: The bill requires that large precincts with lines more than an hour long take steps like adding voting machines and election personnel for the next election to reduce wait times. The law will also directly cut down wait times, meaning refreshment for people waiting in line will be less necessary.

OPINION: The reaction to Georgia's is not proportionate to the changes and the changes codify positive moves that never existed before 2020 and other changes that expanded options for voters.

And yes, I am smarter than a 5th grader. Thank you for not bringing a personal attack.

FACT: Fox "News" said that Georgia's voting laws are less restrictive than Colorado's.
FACT: My post was a rebuttle to that.
FACT: Georgia patterned its laws after what was suggested to them by a conservative think tank for the purpose of winning future elections, and they implemented what they thought they could get away with.
FACT: Georgia's laws ARE NOT less restrictive that Colorado's.
The FACT that Colorado's voter turnout is #2 in the nation should be all you need to know to question the Fox statement, let alone all the other lies constantly spouted by the organization whose lawyers argue in court that its commentators are know liars and that no one should believe them.

I encourage you and everyone to avoid getting your "news" from opinion shows, regardless of the network or publication. Research what you find and draw your own conclusions. In the case of the Georgia voting laws, I've concluded the law is an improvement over previous laws and codifies the positive and necessary changes implemented because of the pandemic. I've concluded that nothing in that law creates any "restrictions", and actually reduces "restrictions" that may have existed previously. That is, unless you believe white people are capable and people of color are incapable of completing the simple things outline to vote? I choose not believe you believe that.
