No one thinks individual citizens could win a war with the government of the United States. But it does provide food for thought on how messy it would be and how some individuals would be sought out first should a battle begin.

If you think your AR or whatever you have will keep the US military at bay- i say good luck and good bye. Your argument is childish.

The military fortunately in this country is not a political arm of the government. So, the politicians are who need to be kept at bay. And politicians care about themselves. Their fear for themselves make them less likely to act using the military against citizens. If you don't think people with guns would not go after politicians as government surrogates, then you are kidding yourself. If you've ever served in the military you know, military people believe in the constitution they've sworn to uphold.

If the people in this country wish to change the rights of people to own guns, then amend the Constitution. That can't happen because the people would not tolerate a blanket amendment. The democrats use the courts to legislate from the bench. That is the approach being taken to take away or restrict the rights enunciated in the Bill of Rights, first among those rights is gun ownership. The plan is to use the courts.

You mentioned door to door, not me. One plan is to use the courts, make ownership illegal, give people an opportunity to turn in the illegal guns. After that ownership of illegal guns or magazines will make you a criminal. There will be no door to door. There will be consequences if you are caught being in possession, buying or selling those items. Your offense will be dealt with similarly to owning or possessing illegal drugs. And it will be equally ineffective, except for creating a new criminal class. You can have the last word...
