Boycott still falls under the umbrella of "cancel culture" because you're also publicly maligning your target in the media and wherever else trying to hurt their business / possibly put them out of business because you're butthurt over something they're doing. Why should anyone want to watch a lousy actor who continuously posts on IG and Twitter racist rants and support for a coup against the government? Calling the Capitol insurrectionists Jews and critics of the coup Nazis? Her job had nothing to do with the government. And Hollywood is largely run by Jews. Why would her job keep her after that? They had been putting up with her racist social media posts for close to a year before she got fired.

People have gotten fired for strongly worded emails. All Kaepernick did was kneel because of the disproportionate number of blacks getting killed by police. I don't remember seeing anyone get cancelled the way he was. Drumpf wouldn't shut up about him and you all kept talking about boycotting the NFL because of him. As far as I can tell Cult45 created cancel culture. And now you're doing it again with MLB.

Kapernick is a mediocre player on a good day. He knew he wasn't gonna get far on his "skills" so he tried to make a name for himself another way. Make himself unfireable even.
