Yes, it does. It makes sense bc of the universe and/or timeline. If you go to another one of the supposed infinite universes, then there are infinite versions of you. One for each decision that you make.

Sure, but only in the timeline that you visited, or traveled to. The only way to ensure that nothing really changed in that timeline, is to not even do anything to the other version of you.
