Good one. Do you want me to list everything bad Trump has done?

Instead, do me one better. What has Biden done GOOD? Why deflect to the past when this president is f**king up our future.

Much on your list has been debunked or is baseless opinions of him made by you. Hilarious!

Your right. Him never releasing his tax returns is my opinion! Just like Jan 6th! And his catering to Kim-Jong-Un! And his protection of Confederates! And his violation of the hatch act and the emoluments clause! How many of these can you really debunk, because if you can (which I doubt), I would like to hear it.

I’m not your personal fact-checker here. Do some of your own research and believe whatever you care to believe. That’s the magic of this country and its constitution. I’m not going to debate you on every single topic. I took you’re easily debunked bullshit ones and slam dunked them. Is Trump perfect? Hell no. Is he better than Biden? Undoubtedly so.

The fact that you want capitalism like Scandinavian countries tells me you are a socialist. Which is fine - do as you please. But that isn’t what they are aiming for here. We will be Venezuela long before -
[deleted]

The fact that you think that Scandinavian countries are socialist tells me that you need to do some research. The government does not own the means of production, making it not socialist. Honestly, I just find it funny that you took about 25% of my points, and then proceeded to fail to debunk half of those. And then, you say you slam dunked all of my arguments

Let me do my favorite ones first!

"That there were good folks on both sides" read the full transcript of what was said - because I doubt you've heard the whole thing on the media. He condemns both Neo-Nazi and White Nationalists just after the ".. good folks" statement. This has been debunked already. I quote:

"And you had people -- and I’m not talking about the Neo-Nazis and the white nationalists -- because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than Neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly."

https://www.politifact.com/article/2019/apr/26/context-trumps-very-fine-people-both-sides-remarks/

"Collusion with Putin" - Unless you have evidence the FBI missed, I've seen the conclusion of the Mueller report - which clearly states - and I quote:

"Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

In other words, they may have considered what he did irresponsible - but he was not found guilty of any criminal activity associated with Russia. So again - this is a hoax.

"Children held separately" - They were identifying young immigrant children were being escorted over by "coyotes". They were not separated from their parents - only estranged adults escorting them over the border. So I guess trying to prevent human sex trafficking is a bad thing now.

"Order for bounties on USA troops" - was not confirmed by leading intelligence agency officials and could very well be misinformation. So do you just randomly retaliate on fake news? Probably not.

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/top-pentagon-officials-russian-bounty-program-corroborated/story?id=71694167

"Tried to ban immigration by looking at nations where plenty of Muslims reside" - it wasn't about banning "Muslims", it was to deter travel from locations specifically identified as radical extremists / terrorists. You know, like the "white guy" that just shot up the grocery store.

"He banned service members if they were transgender" - rightly so. This is a complex medical procedure which can lead to unnecessary risk. I was almost disqualified from the Marines because of a small tattoo and a leg injury I had since I was eleven. So.

"suing Nevada and other states that had a system of mail-in votes" - several irregularities were identified and again - rightly so. Potential voter fraud is not "democracy", by the way.
1 up, 5y
"Donald is voting remote" - there is a difference from a unsolicited mail-in ballot and a Absentee ballot.

"26 women have publicly given accounts of misconducts of sex" - So its 'believe all women' that come forward with Trump - but not those with Gov. Cuomo? Lets keep those double-standards coming!

"Racist and prejudiced" - false claim and slander. Please provide proof of Donald Trump's "racism".

"Dumb antifeminist" - false claim and slander. Please provide proof of Donald Trump's "anti-feminism".

"Greedy" - an opinion based on an economic standpoint. I'd assume you're not a fan of capitalism.

"Immoral" - an opinion based on your sensitive feelings. Perhaps hurt by a Tweet between 2016 and 2020.

"Corrupt and deplorable" - nice use of mainstream media "deplorable". I love it.

"Fascist" - false; you apparently are unaware what a real fascist is. Please go pick up a history book and educate yourself.

"A national shame" - another opinion; about 75 million Americans would disagree.

So I assume that you support what the Biden administration is doing at the border. The Marines are not the army. I think you should know by now that marines require higher levels of physical fitness. And, tell me, what risks exactly would it cause. If you mean hormone therapy, it is very simple and easy to take. It is either a cream or some pills, both of which can be taken fairly easily. And even if they can't, its not going to hurt them. If they are in a position where they can't, they are most likely to be hurt by bullets/shrapnell/grenades/other explosions. It creates very little risk. Face it. And if you think mail-in voting is election fraud, why hasn't pretty much every other country with mail-in voting banned it yet? It is the only logical conclusion, after all. Notice how he still behaved irresponsibly (you could almost say 'unfit for president'). This is about Trump, not Cuomo. Stop trying to shift the blame. Half of all Americans believe that he is racist. Under him, there has been a spike in hate crimes in the places where he won large majorities. Dumb? Very simple. One of his top generals called him an idiot with no sense of national security. He admitted to a reporter that he was a danger to the American people. His chief economic adviser called him dumb as sh*t. So yeah. He said he hates feminism. So antifeminist. He used the presidential position to give himself giant tax cuts and to give his company promotion. And honestly, I am fine with capitalism. Just not late-stage capitalism (where monopolies happen). I mean, a single company owns pretty much the entirety of the glasses industry. It's Standard oil all over again. I simply want the kind of capitalism that Scandinavian countries have. Rehabilitation, easy-to-access benefits, livable minimum wage, not to mention actual maternity/paternity leave. In the US, the average maternity leave is 10 months unpaid. You can forget any hopes of paternity leave. The thing with the workers controlling the means of production is redundant. If he government chooses what to produce, it would be the thing that has the highest demand. Logically, it would be the same with companies trying to make a profit. Immoral. I think all of my previous points highlight that pretty well.

Fascism.

He's suing Nevada
and other states that had a

Perfect hypocrisy
Donald is voting remote
He killed net neutrality
f*cked the legality

Racist and prejudiced
dumb antifeminist
Greedy
Immoral
Corrupt and deplorable

a national shame!

This Yakko's world parody was made on the 28th of October, 2020. Therefore, it does not include the many failed lawsuits about election fraud, as well as the events on International beans day (That's January 6th to you uneducated barbarians). And that isn't even mentioning "59 missiles launched at Syria, then calling it Iraq during an interview because he was distracted by cake" thing.

They are not “socialist” in the sense of Venezuela. That is shit socialism which has failed each and every time. Nordic “socialism” is a form of capitalism that then in turn proposes EXCESSIVE taxation on the people to provide socialist programs. So you can pull hairs on it all day - but it’s socialist programs have shit healthcare among much else. I foresee a civil war long before socialism takes over here. Sorry to say - it’s a shame.

If you like their model, pack your bags son. Write a letter on how wonderful it is for you.
[deleted]
0 ups, 5y
Ummm. The US has some of the worst healthcare in the world, while nordic countries actually have some of the best. And (assuming you are middle class), would you rather have a two thirds of your income, but cheap healthcare, no costs for giving birth, a good pension guaranteed provided you have a job, free education, unemployment insurance, workers compensation, free childcare and care for the disabled, free rehabilitation for drug users, paid maternity leave for 4.2 months, paid paternity leave for 2.2 months, as well as 6 months of unpaid parental leave each?

Or, would you rather have three quarters of your income and the most expensive healthcare in the world, expensive college loans, no workers benefits, no paid maternity leave (and you can forget about paternity leave), an expensive and ineffective war against drug and uncertainty about your pension?

Your choice

“Socialism bad” - “no proof”? Open any history book and tell me when you find an example of socialism that has been beneficial to anyone but the very top. I’ll wait. Socialism has failed everywhere - every time.

But but, Scandinavia isn’t socialism! Taking someone’s hard earned money for someone else is socialist- period. If you like that idea - like I said before - pack your bags. That shit won’t happen here so keep dreaming.
[deleted]
0 ups, 5y
'That shit won't happen here'. Good one. Again, the government takes 40% of the average American's income in taxes. The only difference here is that in Finland, you get most of it back. You are very simply protesting stuff you don't like because it is 'socialist'. If you want the stats, Finland has some of the lowest crime levels in the world, ranks at the top when it comes to citizen happiness, has low rates of recidivism, ranks 21st on life expectancy (The US ranks 36th). And my point isn't that socialism is good. It is that Finland is not socialism. You are just calling it socialist because you don't like it.

But, if socialism means better education, more gender equality, low corruption (much lower than the US, if you were wondering), more freedom (ranked higher than the US in the international freedom index, which is run by the Cato institute, a Libertarian right Think Tank), low crime rates, lower rates of organised crime, Independent judicial systems, more protection of property rights, more Gov't transparency, sounder banks, better pension systems, press freedom and more charitable actions by the government, then yes, I guess I am a socialist. You can look all of these statistics up, by the way. Go ahead

Lol our healthcare is some of the best the world has to offer. What the hell are you talking about? People come from all around the world to be treated by American doctors in American hospitals. Sure it costs money, like all services do. It’s not your right to be entitled to healthcare.

Additionally, if you can’t afford to pay back your student loans - don’t take them out. Easy as that.

So yes, I’d rather not be taxed so I can pay for someone else’s education or healthcare. So if you enjoy that thought, you can move there and enjoy those benefits. We do not need that system here. We’ve been a successful nation for over 244 years without socialism.
[deleted]
0 ups, 5y
No. It's very simple. The US doesn't pay doctors based on the quality of their care. The UK (the country with the most socialized medicine anyone ever saw) pays doctors based on the quality of their care in 95% of clinics. In Australia, that number drops to 72%. In the US, that figure is 28%. The US has the worst healthcare in the developed world. And, in fact, the US spends more per capita on healthcare than Canada ($6697). Canada spends $3326. And that is just the average. In Canada, most people have insurance, whereas in the US, 16% don't have it. Due to the fact that healthcare has been privatized, Hospitals now charge far more than the cost of the actual procedure. For example, neck braces can cost only $20, but hospitals have charged $154. Shouldn't they be charging $25? An IV bag costs less than $1, but hospitals have charged $137. 40% of US citizens said they couldn't pay a surprise medical bill of $400. Depressing?

And how do you expect people to get an education without student loans? Not everyone has a trust fund. And if it's entirely because of taxes, just remember that, when factoring in all taxes, you still lose 40% to taxes. And you get no unemployment benefits, no healthcare, no education.

It's very simple. Don't privatize essential services like college loans and healthcare. With college loans, it drives the interest rates so far up that people can't even afford to pay off the interest. Don't privatize healthcare because the costs will just be driven up to make a huge profit.

So. What did we learn?
We learnt that not everyone has a trust fund, so most people have to take out college loans
We learnt that the US taxes you 40% and you get almost nothing back
We learnt that Finland taxes you 75% and you get most of it back
We learnt that US healthcare costs are wildly inflated
We learnt that privatization is not good for things like hospitals and college loans
We learnt that a country with 'socialist' healthcare has some of the best healthcare out there
