'That shit won't happen here'. Good one. Again, the government takes 40% of the average American's income in taxes. The only difference here is that in Finland, you get most of it back. You are very simply protesting stuff you don't like because it is 'socialist'. If you want the stats, Finland has some of the lowest crime levels in the world, ranks at the top when it comes to citizen happiness, has low rates of recidivism, ranks 21st on life expectancy (The US ranks 36th). And my point isn't that socialism is good. It is that Finland is not socialism. You are just calling it socialist because you don't like it.
But, if socialism means better education, more gender equality, low corruption (much lower than the US, if you were wondering), more freedom (ranked higher than the US in the international freedom index, which is run by the Cato institute, a Libertarian right Think Tank), low crime rates, lower rates of organised crime, Independent judicial systems, more protection of property rights, more Gov't transparency, sounder banks, better pension systems, press freedom and more charitable actions by the government, then yes, I guess I am a socialist. You can look all of these statistics up, by the way. Go ahead
