You die or get very injured. You'll hit it like jumping into a pool full of bricks.

How is Scrooge able to do that and he is absolutely fine?!
0 ups, 4y
Maybe because he’s not a duck yet a human. Maybe Scrooge is a hologram

How deep the pool, how wide the pool, how big the coins, what shape the coins, purity of gold, the velocity at impact, where you land on your body, how packed the coins are, and many other variables.

Yes but no matter the size of the coin and how high you jump from, you will not be able to get close to swimming. You do have a very good point

You could swim a little bit if the coins were small.

Well no because they would be more densely packed. If you have a bunch of big rocks that you need to pack into a 3x3x3 foot space, then it would weigh less then if you filled it with sand that is consisting of about the same materials. Yes you can swim in sand a tiny bit, but you would need to add moving air or a lot of vibrations. And since gold is a lot denser and has more atomic mass then sand. Sand consists of a large amount of silicon in the form of quartz we can get the Atomic Mass Unit for that element. Silicon: 28.0855 atomic mass units. We can also do the same with gold. Gold: 196.9665 atomic mass units. Big difference. So no, you can’t swim in gold no matter the size of the coin

By that logic, it would be easier to swim in a pool filled with large ice cubes than in a pool of water.

Also dihydrogen monoxide still has a lower atomic weight then gold

No because they are in different states of matter. Gold and sand are in the same state of matter. If you didn’t know, they are both in solid states. Water is a liquid. Ice is a solid. So no I’m still correct

I think there's only one way to solve this discussion.

Please explain. I am eager for a good explanation

It's very expensive, although I'm not sure how much a pool of gold would cost.

Well one cubic foot of pure gold is $33,498,820.80. So find the volume of the pool, calculate the price, then take away so to account for the fact that it’s not sold gold

if you did it anything like scrooge you snap some bones

"snap that child back, goldfish."
0 ups, 3y
