Disarming the non-problem people only exacerbates the issue. Good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns when they are allowed to carry.

Felons and the mentally ill should not have weapons. We need to stop with the destigmatizing of mental health issues and stop treating them like misunderstood special flowers.

My congressman’s solution is to put guns into the right hands. The hands of citizens with the right to own them, without a criminal record, and without mental illness. You can subtract guns from the situation, and imo still have the same result in Colorado. The psycho would’ve just used a knife or another weapon instead. The only thing a gun changes is the opportunity for the innocent to fight back.

The federal government has no business in it. Local governments should be able to keep tabs on guns and who has them some how, you know, regulate the militia.
