"I see no color" should be the *eventual* goal. What's so bad about that? If people stopped caring about race, there wouldn't be racism. I don't understand this push from some people to hyper-acentuate race. Should people be more aware of racism? Of course. Should people feel encouraged to stand against it? Absolutely. But this hyper-awareness, "wokeness" as some might call it, is in my opinion counterproductive.

I'm of the opinion that people should be judged first and foremost as individuals, not on the basis of an arbitrary social construct such as race, which is, quite frankly, meaningless at the end of they day. Unfortunately, society isn't at that point yet. It's a sad truth that the concept of race can and does have extensive and tangible impacts on peoples' lives. I'm not denying this, but what I am saying is: if we want to solve racism, shouldn't we embrace our common humanity?

The goal expressed in the tweet shouldn't apply to someone because of their race. It should apply to them because of shared humanity.
