I just fell in love with Tabasco family reserve, all the heat, less of the vinegar punch, all of the aged refinement!

Tabasco family reserve is made with white wine vinegar as opposed to just white distilled vinegar...it makes the sauce much more refined and nuanced. Absolutely delicious, and it enhances the food you put it on as opposed to just adding heat. I love tabasco period but this sauce is by far their finest yet. Only available in limited release, so get it while you can!

Outside of Tabasco, Elijah's extreme ghost pepper sauce is a go to for me, it's got plenty of heat but its delicious to boot. What's not to love?

Appreciate it! Yeah it's hard to go wrong with either of those, I don't turn my nose up at any mainstream hot sauce, they are mainstream for a reason and that's because they are doing something right. I love me some craft sauces too, but sometimes you just want that familiar flavor and heat that got you started.

Yes and make your own! I've tried my own version of tobasco when peppers were on sale but got scared when it turned brown lol wicked. Funny was just out looking for powdered mustard for the ham couldn't find any!

I've never tried to actually make hot sauce, but my dad has made lots in his time. Most recently he made a habanero sauce that was really delicious, and also a ghost pepper sauce using a ghost concentrate that turned out very good as well. I'll follow in his footsteps someday, I just dont have the time to pull something like that together right now!

put a bunch of peppers in a blender with some salt and wine/vinegar blend then into a jar and let ferment ;)
