gordon was fired from the vet because he specialized in frying therapy, which is where one puts his/her pet on a deep fryer. however, when the boss confiscated his deep fryer, he started to use swearing a lot, sometimes calling patients that are fish untreatable simply because they are raw. eventually the boss booted him, and suggested that he should take a culinary career. gordon agreed, and thus gordon became the chef we saw on television today.
