Subsequent interviews conducted by police indicate motive was sexual and religious and not racial. That's the kind of information the media should wait to report, not jump to conclusions driven by preconceived bias or agendas.

They are according to stats. So why needlessly allege an attack that was not based on race to be based on race. That encourages those so inclined to say, "see it's a lie" and an argument to be made that the stats are false. Report accurately so people will trust the news and believe the stats.
That is focus of my comments.
