The fact that it took me 2 hours to reply to you should really convince you that I do indeed have better things to do.
Also how on earth do I benefit myself by calling out upvote beggars? I gain nothing. In fact I’ve lost plenty of followers because I call out beggars. And I don’t care because I would much rather take down upvote beggars than gain followers.

Because it feels like you’re genuinely saying the latter... which is untrue.

Upvote begging is annoying, but the reasons why it’s annoying is why I’m calling it out. Not that it is in essence annoying.

What makes it annoying? That’s easy.
1. It’s a lazy way to get upvotes
2. Half the time it’s made by selfish people
3. They have no humor other than “I didn’t get any upvotes feel sad :(.”
4. The more they get on the front page, the more people make them.
5. For some reason people have started defending upvote beggars.

Also, the ego thing is funny because it’s an assumption you love making up. I don’t do it for myself.
