Only some people "hate the police" and are "anti-police activists." Most people just want police to not beat people up.

But that's kinda their job, beat up the criminals if they resist arrest, and if they don't the punishment isn't as bad to.

They should need to use reasonable force. If a guy is going to hurt them they have the right to use force. If the guy is seriously going to hurt or kill them they have the right to use lethal force. The amount of force used on George Floyd was far too high.

He was 2 things 1 resisting arrest (fighting basically) and on drugs (specifically the ones that cause breathing problems)

They were not at risk of harm.

He was fighting them they had no choice but to restrain him it got to the point where his drug buddies were like "just stop it" so no they weren't at any risk but he was fighting them not letting them take him to prison, restraint was really the only option.

There were other ways they could have non-lethally restrained him.

He put his leg on his chest not the diaphragm ( the breathing organ) it wouldn't have been lethal if Floyd hadn't been talking drugs that harm the oxygen circulation.

Have you heard about the eggshell rule? Also the diaphragm and lungs are in the chest.

That's not what I said you just put words in my mouth, I was saying that they didn't know previously that he was on drugs and that they only knew he was on drugs when they caught him.

Actually the diaphragm is below the chest but above the stomach and the lungs are protected by the ribs (which is why I was talking about the diaphragm) and actually no I don't know what the eggshell rule is if you'd like to explain that.

The eggshell rule says that if you punch me and the only reason I die is because my bones are weak you are still guilty of killing me.

But it wasn't from the bones it was the fact the oxygen circulation was damage from the drugs that he was taking, combined with the slight pressure, on his chest area caused him to be unable to breathe. And while we're her let's talk about how he was a huge sex offender who had beat multiple women in his life and was basically on the run anyways.

So the fact that he committed crimes in the past justifies the police killing him. News Flash: It didn't.
