It doesn't matter who founded it. The party swap happened, remember? The KKK, whilst not officially endorsing one party, has very clearly given its support to Republicans, as many KKK members are actually republicans

1. The KKK was founded after the civil war, over 150 years ago.
2. The party swap happened
3. The majority of KKK members support the republicans, and many Neo-Nazis have felt 'emboldened' by Trump
Trump is by no means a fascist or a racist. His work for the black community could just be to stop accusations of racism. But he retweet a video of a man saying 'white power', and racists and Nazis have said they feel emboldened by Trump, so he basically creates the environment where they think it is ok to be racist

Yeah, I would think he is fascist. I could easily make a case for that.
