Trump did not have a workable plan for distribution. He was obsessed with overturning the election and paid attention to nothing else. Then, after 1-6-21, he went into hiding. Biden had a plan worked out by a group of experts prior to being sworn in. On the day the J&J vaccine was rolled out, the Merck CEO noted that Biden's implementation of the War Powers Act was responsible for them being able to produce large numbers of doses. Biden's actions resulted in doses produced being increased from hundreds of thousands to two million a day and growing. And, his distribution plan is getting these doses into millions of arms each day. Objectively, that is much more than nothing.

Um, Biden received his 2ND dose of the vaccine on January 11th. The vaccine was being administered to 1,000,000 people per day at that point.

Distribution was well under way.

US News reported on January 14 that 340,000 doses had been administered on 1-12-21. And, they said, "But even with the recent pickup in vaccinations, more than two-thirds of the doses sent to states have yet to be administered. As of Wednesday, nearly 29.4 million doses had been shipped to all 50 states and all U.S. territories. Of those, just 10.3 million — about 30% — had actually been used, CDC data shows." Like I said, no workable plan for getting shots in arms.

Ten versions of the vaccine were developed on 1-25-20 by a guy in Germany you never heard of, working for a small company you never heard of. Trump was predicting COVID would disappear back then. Phizer partnered with that small company and chose a model of the vaccine which they submitted to the FDA for approval a month before Trump called for a vaccine to be developed.
