I mean, it’s not fair to judge all republicans as gun-toting, racist, old white men, and it’s not fair to judge as Democrats as communistic socialists. Most of the people supporting each side aren’t. I happen to be left wing, but I respect some right wing policies. I’m fairly pro life for instance.
