No, it's based on the same standards today. Poor vs rich. You can literally buy poor children in the middle east and blacks in Libya from muslim slave traders. Africans are still selling their own today, yet you're mad at whitey for buying slaves from africa, when africa sold them to white people. America had the shortest timespan of slavery, yet is the vocal point of slavery. Again, go ask africa for reparations.
