The probability that a universe would have all fundamental constants and quantities with the right values to allow for physical life to exist is microscopic. An uninhabitable universe is a thousand orders of magnitude more likely.

Until you have scientific proof of god you can't say it exists. Panspermia most likely is the answer.

God is real. If you cant see him, does that mean he is real? Yes, you cant see wind or air, but you know it is there!

science can prove wind and air exist.

So it can prove God exists

Because God came before Science. He is real

You replied "As sure as I can be about anything" to a person asking "Are you sure about that?" to another person claiming "God doesn't exist.".
Placing that amount of certainty on an evidentially bankrupt claim is the epitome of irrationality.

big bang theory has more legitimacy than god
[deleted]

It's quite possible god used a big bang in the creation process. The universe is in fact expanding in a way that backs up the big bang theory. HOWEVER, contrary to what would make sense, the rate at which it is expanding is increasing, not decreasing. What is driving it to expand faster and faster? Dark energy, which is some sort of force that scientists still have zero explanation for. It doesn't behave anything like nay other forces of the universe. The only way they can describe it is like an intelligent "dynamic energy". This is interesting because the exact phrase "dynamic energy" is used in the Bible to describe God's active force, the holy spirit.

Here's something else interesting: not just the astronomical chance that an explosion accidentally created life somehow, but after the big bang, space would be at extremely high temperatures. So just the chance of it being a suitable temperature for life to exist is 1 out of 1x10^230. That's 1 followed by 230 zeros. If you still hold firm that is correct then we are both men of faith. I put my faith in an intelligent creator and you put faith in impossible chance.

Ah yes because 300,000 years for the universe to cool down isn't very long at all.

Also I answered your last question already. Neil DeGrasse Tyson says he doesn't believe in religion because it depends on faith in the absence of evidence, which is true. So I don't actually *know* anything, I only have faith. And even those who don't believe in a creator must also put faith, once again the difference is I put faith in a creator and they put faith in impossible chance.

Referring to the minimum amount of time from the big bang to when space cools to 1,000 degrees Celsius.

“People who don't believe in a creator don't put their faith in impossible chance.”
Prove me wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like you're blaming religious people for what atheists chose to do when they have absolute power, answer to nobody, and can make a country anything they want. Is that correct?
[deleted]
0 ups, 3y
there wouldn't be aetheist revolts if there weren't oppressive religious dictatorships, would there?

Nations that have implemented state atheism inevitably bring about mass murder. We saw this in the Soviet Union and Cuba, and we're seeing it still in China and North Korea. Neither the religious or anti religious extreme is good for a nation as both end in mass murder. This is proven by how right now the country that executes the most people is atheist China, and #2 is radically Muslim Iran. In the past, Christian zealots brought about the very bloody Crusades, and in more recent history, atheist Mao Zedong's "great leap forward" remains the worst mass murder spree ever recorded. Atheist Joseph Stalin also carried out mass executions, plus torturous work camps and triggered the largest man made famine in history.
1 up, 3y
That's why you don't implement anything and always aim for liberty. Definitely discriminate which cultures you let into your country though. Liberty doesn't apply to non citizens.

shouldn't have forced religion onto atheists in the first place.

Russia, China, and Cuba weren't dictatorial theocracies prior to state atheist control. Also I must say it sounds like you're excusing the horrors atheists caused
[deleted]
