It's quite possible god used a big bang in the creation process. The universe is in fact expanding in a way that backs up the big bang theory. HOWEVER, contrary to what would make sense, the rate at which it is expanding is increasing, not decreasing. What is driving it to expand faster and faster? Dark energy, which is some sort of force that scientists still have zero explanation for. It doesn't behave anything like nay other forces of the universe. The only way they can describe it is like an intelligent "dynamic energy". This is interesting because the exact phrase "dynamic energy" is used in the Bible to describe God's active force, the holy spirit.
Here's something else interesting: not just the astronomical chance that an explosion accidentally created life somehow, but after the big bang, space would be at extremely high temperatures. So just the chance of it being a suitable temperature for life to exist is 1 out of 1x10^230. That's 1 followed by 230 zeros. If you still hold firm that is correct then we are both men of faith. I put my faith in an intelligent creator and you put faith in impossible chance.
