Yes. I would never kill someone unless it was to defend myself. But that is only when it's necessary to survive. Meaning that after the war yes lock them up and make sure they stay in prison. But I would NOT kill them if they were no longer trying to kill me. Because that would make me no better than them in my eyes.

The revolution was overthrowing the government. A weapon wouldn't have to be used until the government used a weapon. Then you have to defend your own life and people around you which is obviously reasonable defense as I said before. And NO it wouldn't be justified. No matter how much something pisses you off or how bad something is you should not take a human life.
