Its funny how this meme says that "Skillet is good" even though Skillet sucks. Their songs almost all sound the same, they try so hard to be edgy, they use awful lyrics like “SAVE ME” “WAR” “I CANT CONTROL MYSELF”, their songs don't sound like metal but rather Pop disguised as metal, the female singer has an awful singing voice, and so does the main singer. Christian music itself sucks. The lyrics tend to be awful and repetitive, they revolve around natural disasters or things related to god, they try so hard to be edgy, etc.

Can you explain me how is disliking Skillet having a bad taste?

I can no more explain good music to someone who's tone deaf than I can explain color to a man born blind.

Point is, Skillet's songs and Christian music sucks. You can like them if you want, but there is a difference between having an opinion and stating your opinion as a fact. Also, sending me texan mems about me SUPPOSEDELY having a bad taste wont disprove my argument ;).

You like Skillet while I dislike Skillet. But does not change the fact that Skillet, their music and Christian music as a whole suck. This meme is straight up misleading.

If their music was bad, they wouldn't sell nearly the amount of albums they do, or draw the crowds at concerts they do EVEN OVERSEAS! Stop acting like your opinion (which is worse than garbage) is objective fact. You're entitled to like and dislike who you want, but don't pretend like your opinion is anything but an expression of subjective preference.

Just because something is popular or self does not mean its good. The Minions movie made lots of money, does that mean its good? Also. Justin Biebers music is popular and sells a lot as well. Does that mean its good? There is your answer.

Whether Minions or Bieber are good is, again, subjective. Bieber's not my cup of tea, but that's just my subjective preference. I would be an idiot if I pretended that my musical preferences had some universal truth value.

Oh, and I liked the Minions movie. I thought it was a decent prequel to Despicable Me.

Also fun fact: Skillet's song "Monster" aside from being one of their worst is also a rip off of Animal I Have Become from Three Days Grace. Just as how their song "Hero" is a rip off of Holding out for a hero from Shrek.
